Scaffold Mission Developments
SCAFFOLD Mission CIC is launching Jigsaw Hub, a new online gateway connecting people to trusted physical, mental, financial and spiritual support. Take part in our public consultation survey.
A new community-focused initiative inspired by our patron Saint Charles Borromeo and innovated by a parishioner is preparing to launch with the formation of SCAFFOLD Mission CIC and its online support portal, Jigsaw Hub.
SCAFFOLD Mission has been established as a Community Interest Company (CIC), created to serve the wider public through structured, accessible signposting to trusted sources of help. Its purpose is straightforward: to make it easier for people to find the right support at the right time.
Modern life can feel complex. Physical health concerns, mental wellbeing challenges, financial pressures and spiritual questions often overlap. Yet the support available is frequently spread across multiple websites, agencies and organisations. Many people are unsure where to begin.
Jigsaw Hub is designed to become that starting point.
The portal will bring together carefully curated links and guidance across four key areas:
Physical Health
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Financial and Practical Support
Spiritual and Faith-Based Support
Rather than replacing existing services, Jigsaw Hub will connect individuals to established NHS resources, national charities, local initiatives and faith communities. The aim is clarity, reliability and ease of navigation — a calm gateway into trusted help.
The initiative has grown from lived experience within parish life. Churches often become informal places of first contact for those facing difficulty. Clergy and lay leaders regularly encounter people who may not need direct intervention, but do need direction — someone to guide them towards appropriate support.
SCAFFOLD Mission builds on that pastoral instinct in a structured and outward-looking way. While rooted in Christian inspiration, the portal will be open to all and designed to serve the wider community.
Public Consultation Now Open
As development continues, SCAFFOLD Mission is inviting public participation through a consultation survey. The feedback gathered will directly influence how Jigsaw Hub develops — shaping its content, priorities and areas of focus.
This is not a symbolic exercise. Community input is central to the CIC model, ensuring that the organisation remains accountable and responsive to real needs.
Parishioners and members of the wider community are warmly encouraged to take part.
By completing the survey, you will help shape a resource designed to offer clarity, connection and hope — bringing together the different pieces of support that so many people need.
Further updates will follow as Jigsaw Hub approaches its official launch.
